BIOGRAPHY

Jaime Bonilla has been a resident of Chula Vista, California since 1979.
In 1978, he married Rita Fimbres, They have four children, all born in the South Bay and currently living at the family home in Chula Vista.
In 1983, Jaime Bonilla received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
from National University. For the past twenty years he has engaged
in real estate, commercial, industrial and broadcasting ventures
in the South Bay and throughout California.
In May, 2002 he was awarded
a Masters degree in Public Administration from National University.
In 1992, he was granted an FCC license to operate San Diego radio
station KURS 1040 AM. Currently, KURS 1040 owns the Spanish broadcast
rights for the San Diego Padres baseball games.
Since then, he has expanded his broadcasting network to include stations in
Lompoc, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Chico, Salinas, Monterey,
Sacramento, Temecula and Barstow.
The Bonilla family continues to support many charitable, educational,
cultural and sports organizations as its ongoing commitment to the community.
Towards this goal, The Bonilla Family Charitable Foundation was formed in 2001.
